The BUNA Pole Sport Association aims to promote and develop the practice of pole sport. It organizes national and international competitions, workshops, and activities for education, training, skill development, and spiritual enrichment.

After four years of sustained efforts to demonstrate the complexity of this sport, in July 2022, we achieved official recognition of pole sport as a sport in Romania, becoming the ninth country in the world to receive this recognition.

The association is led by Nadia Budurusi, who was born into a family of circus acrobats and has been a pioneer in the development of pole sport in Romania since 2015. We are currently taking steps to establish the Romanian Pole Sport Federation.
