Indian Pole Sports Association was founded in 2016 by Dr. Shrikant Warankar with the purpose of uniting the athletes, coaches, judges and enthusiasts. We are the National Governing Body for the sport of Pole, dedicated to developing pole athletes, coaches and clubs across a range of all disciplines.

MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL WITH POSA (PoIe Sports & Arts World Federation) – on Feb. 2022

The Indian Pole Sports Association is a not for profit organization dedicated to positively promoting pole as an athletic sport. Run by voluntary members of the INDIA Pole community and created to foster the development of Pole throughout the nation, the Pole Sports Federation India supports athletes, coaches, judges and enthusiasts to unify the our sport.

The Pole Sports Federation India is a proud member of the PoIe Sports & Arts World Federation who governs pole internationally, by setting in place a structured competition, coaching and education format that has been accepted by international sport governing bodies.

The National Pole Sports Championship is held annually.  Top athletes are selected from each National Championship to represent INDIA at the POSA World Pole Championships annually more than 25 countries are represented.

POSA judging rules, regulations and scoring have been carefully created by the POSA technical committee in conjunction with the pole community, to promote a fair and transparent judging.
